As part of the City of New Westminster's ongoing playground renewal program, the Grimston Park playground is scheduled to be rebuilt this fall.
The New Westminster Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the public to attend an open house to provide input into the design process. Conceptual playground design options will be available for comment. This project is focusing on the redesign and construction of the playground area only.
Existing park features such as the wading pool, washrooms and sports field are not impacted by this project.
The Project Landscape Architect and Parks & Recreation Department staff will be in attendance. The Open House will be held rain or shine.
